2001 WRX american version

What do you guys think of the redesign of the Impreza for its release in 2001. I personally dont like the headlights!!!

headlights...looks like a neon. A small sacrifice to finally get it to the US, though.

Im all about customization of the headlights if I was lucky enough to ever be able to buy one. I would love to fill in the head lights "body fill which would require repainting and all the good stuff" and then somewhere flush mount some a H.I.D system. I think that would be cool and then the tail end is not satisfactory to me...

I like this one a lot more

I'd make that front bumper look a little more real, paint those headlights the same color, but other than that...it's awesome!

I still Dislike, perhaps even more. The pod-style, or projector thing just doesn't work for me on this. I think the Sube needs to stick with what's worked...Wonderful performance in a not-too flashy car (aside from that killer wing and those lights up front).

I want to know how the designers did it. They managed to take an ugly car and make it look worse. I'm impressed.

I don't think the previous WRX was ugly at all. It certainly lacked the aggressive styling of a 300ZX, but it was by no means ugly. Perhaps just better suited to people with different tastes. I suppose we can all agree that the new headlights are hideous, though.
