Subs not as loud! help!

I just installed brown bread about a month ago on my trunk. Now it seems, that my subs don't sound like they are hitting as hard. I have a 900 watt rock fos amp with two ten inch cerwin vega vega series. I checked the connections and everything seems fine, but is there something I should double check??

how much of your trunk did you soundproof? i put dynomate extreme all over my trunk and wear i could not get my hands i sprayed the dynomat from the can onto but i left the top except right around the components i put in free and also against the seat with no soundproofing to let the sound go through. you can't soundproof the entire trunk or you will not let the bass through. also there are a few different types of soundproofing. one will absorb the soundwaves and muffle them others will reflect the soundwaves back. brown bead may absorb the soundwaves which is making the subs sound like they are not hitting as hard. you can buy more soundproofing that reflects the sound waves and it may help.
