whining noise
i have a 93 3.3l century with 65 on the odo.
my engine makes an annoying whining noise when i'm pushing the gas but will stop when i let off. it also makes the noise when in park. its not loud, but it just gets on my nerves when i'm not playing music. a mechanic told me it might be something wrong w the transmission seal. does anyone know what this problem could be?

Could be an alternator whine. Rear bearings drying up. Usually means that the alternator is on its way out.
Good Luck.
