civic vs. mr2 spyder

i raced a kid the other night in my 98 civic ex and he had a newer mr2 spyder. it was raining out and he was following me, messing around, like speeding up and then acting like he was going to pass me. so i pull over and roll my window down and he asks if i want to see what his car can do, and i say sure. well we line up and he counts down from 3 and we both punch it but i spun my tires and he got a pretty good start. so from the begining i was about a car behind and all the way through third he probably pulled about anouther half a car or so. this was my first real race so it was kind of exciting even though i lost.

sounds like fun!! i raced my integra ls for the first time last weekend. it was exilerating! I'd never raced before, let alone taken my car to 100 in 4th hehehe. It was a '92 prelude S (yea yea the one with 135bhp stock) with i/h/e i was bone stock and lost by literally about 3 feet it was hella fun. the first race is the beginning of an addictive habit haha.

yea it is thx. its my next door neighbors car. it had a 2000 type r (mayb 2001)before that. that was also a sweet car. wont tell you how many times he embarassed the american muscle guys( esp mustangs ) with it. but he decided to see it and get the nsx. its a 95 with only 10,000 orig miles. super clean. his old type r i think had 18,000 miles before he sold it.

Thanks for the compliment, got any pix of yours? mines a 94 LS Its an eibach prokit (1.3" drop imo perfect for daily driving and handles awesome)... that was before they settled in so its' a little lower now. im getting 16" slipstreams today :-d (13 pounds!!) and 45 series yokohamas (parada spec2) so that might make it look a little lower too. im trying to find out in our state, but like in cali i think they permanently impound your car (uh oh).

you'll have to take a pic when you get the new rims. where are you located at? that would suck to have your car impounded. do you have anything else done to your car?
