Question aftermarket engine swap

i have a 95 eclipse gs and i want to drop an aftermarket engine in it, does anyone have any suggestions? or should i keep the stck engine with 116000 miles that seems to have a million bugs in it!!!

The only engine you can 'drop' in your GS is another RS/GS motor.

Stick with the stock engine. I just completed that task. Its not real difficult if your mechanically inclined. I picked up a stock engine with 58k on it for 550.00

Nothing else is really worth the hassle.

Their are no eagle's or turboed dsm's for sale with in 200 miles.
