Cables under passenger seat

Hey all. Was wondering what the cables under my passenger seat are. There are 2 cables which go into a thin braided line. The braided line comes out underneath the car where it has been cut somehow, and skims along the ground. My reverse lights dont work either so i presume it has something to do with that. Any help on how to rewire it would be appreciated.

Cheers

The braided line (that's cut) was your cat's temp sensor. You most likely have a de-cat test pipe that doesn't use the exhaust temp probe.

Your reverse lights are wired to the trans. and should be on the forward switch (if you have a manual) on the driver's side. It should wire into a connector on the driver's side of the engine bay.

Cheers GTES-t

Thanks for that. It kinda makes sense that the cable is sitting loose, as there is no cat on the 33. If i do end up getting a high flow cat for it, then would i need to reconnect the cable or jsut leave it off?

Also i found the reverse cable which connects to the gearbox. It is the top most connector on the gearbox, and was damaged somehow. I have reconnected the damaged cable and suprise suprise, reverse lights came on like magic.

Cheers again.
