Help me from going completely insane. Both of my tail lights are out on my 1999 Nissan Fronteir Kingcab. How in the world do I get the cover off the light to replace the bulb??? THANKS!

I had a '93 nissan truck. The screws for the taillights were gotten to from inside the truck bed. I had a bedliner with 2 holes on each side that allowed me to slip a screwdriver into and undo the screws.
Don't let pride get in your way and go to an Automotive store (Autozone, AutoParts, NAPA, etc.) buy something cheap just to talk with a sales clerk and pick his brain about it if you are really stumped. More than likely they will walk outside and take a look at it with you. These days, the clerks at auto part places are pretty knowledgable nice people. Just humble yourself and ask for a help, like you did here. Also, this is good book for do-it-yourself work.... http://search.barnesandnoble.com/boo...63924560&itm=2 Good luck! |

Re: Re: frontier's %&@#ing tail light -- HELP!!
There are two 10mm head screws inside the pickup bed (probably under your bedliner). You'll need to pull back the bed liner a little to get access. Unscrew the two bolts, then pull light out a little towards the rear, then disconnect light harness.
