type R vs. GS-R

I'm sure this question has been asked, but when i searched it nothing came up. I was just wondering what the Type R has that gives it the extra 25 hp over the GS-R. does it actually have a different engine? or does it just have better mechanical components that add up?

Re: type R vs. GS-R

the main thing on the type R are the aggressive cam lobes. My Type R is fast as hell.
