Some rex questions
I've got a few questions concerning this swap. First ones concern the car itself. Is the 2nd (88-91, do I have the right gen numbers here?) gen. CRX F.I. in all models or just in the Si like the previous gen? If so, would I be able to use a DX or HF with the same ease as an Si? Did the chassis change from 1st to 2nd gen? If so, which gen is easier for the swap. I have found a few cheap 88-91's so I am planning on using that for B16A if I wont have a hell of a time getting it in there . Now onto the engine. What are the differences between the JDM B16A from the SiR 1 and the USDM B16A from the 'Teg? If anyone from CT has experience with the JDM B16A, do you know if it will pass emissions? Also, what is the real engine code for the ZC and what USDM models did it come from. It is non-VTEC, right? Are there a good amount of turbo applications for it? Thanks folks!

The ZC's code is ZC...and it is a JDM motor only...it was never offered in the US as a USDM motor. The closest thing to it is the d16a9 I think, which is a 86-89 Integra motor. Many of the maintenance parts (gaskets, dizzy, etc) can be used from this motor.
The 88 CRX is the lightest. The HF is MPFI like an Si, the DX is DPFI. for swapping, the MPFI models are a little easier to deal with, but I am planning a DX to ZC swap so I will tell you how the DPFI to MPFI changeover went if I ever do it ![]() Also...check out that hybrid page that was offered up earlier in this post...it does answer most of your Q's and also gives links to other sites that will help. Later!

Thanks for all your help guys. That swap site was really helpful and totally enlightened me
. I'm probably going to buy a 88-91 HF, as the ones I have found are about two grand less than an Si, and do a ZC swap. Thanks for all your help. Also, any donations are welcome . I need to save up now.
