EGR Valve? Please help. B3000 30k

New here. I have a 2000 B3000 with only 33000 miles on it. The Check Engine light just came on and I took it to Autozone, who said that the EGR valve was at fault. I called the dealership and they said it could be that or other items.

Any good process for cleaning these? If they used a code checker at Autozone, isn't this pretty certain? Is this not a warranted part?

Pleasea advise, and thanks in advance,

Re: EGR Valve? Please help. B3000 30k

I had the same problem in my B3000, changing the EGR is relatively easy and from what i remember it only took like 30 minutes, after changing went back to autozone and had them clear the code, easy and cheap fix.
