Which Lancer Evo V detail set?

Which set should I get?

Platz Mitsubishi Lancer Evo photoetch set - No details.

Renaissance Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5-6 detail set - No details.

Scale Motorsport Lancer Evo set - Looks very nice, with PE door handles and a mitsubishi logo stencil too. Pricey.

M&A Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5 set - No brake discs, looks very basic.

Any others I've missed? I've never seen a Studio 27 Evo V set.

Re: Which Lancer Evo V detail set?

S27 Evo V set is from the bad old days and not up to the standard of their more recent efforts.

Do Platz do an Evo V? I've can only recall an Evo VII.

Renaissance set includes opening doors and is more for the Evo VI than V.

I agree about SMS being very nice. If you look around some stores sell their PE for well under RRP.

I personally like M&A but their stuff is hard to find. M&A mkae two different Evo V sets, one for Tamiya and one for Hasegawa so make sure you order the right one!

Your call...

You would be alot better buying the SMS photo-etch kit from your LHS. They are alot cheaper than mediamixhobby.com

I just noticed that the SMS set doesn't have wiper blades. Did they intentionally leave these out?
