Just get 18's if money doesn't matter. You just have to be "on it" with your offset selection, if you want to go nice and wide.

I saw some Wangan Action on some Pay-per-Veiw Street Racing Movie one of the shots was a Red Wide body S14 (after MC) on Low offset 18in TE37s getting up an on ramp... It was the coolest Silvia Ive ever seen including the Signal Twins and Signal S15 (yeah that awsome)

I have a friend who's running 19x9 and 19x10.5 Work VS's on stock fenders (rolled in the back only) on his S-14.

Work VS = Major amounts of Cheese - I think some of th 18s run 720$ but definatly the sexiest wheel ive ever seen
