trunk broken need help ???
about a year ago, i went to open my trunk but it doesnt pop open or stay open, you have to pull it open and hold it up yourself(been using an umbrella as a prop rod)...does anyone know why this happened and how i can fix it and prevent it from happening again? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

the springs are weak or broken. i think your trunk uses torsion bars to keep it open. just be vary carefull if you decide to mess with them yourself they have a lot of force.
