Help! Auto to manual trans swap
Hey i was wonder if i could swap a 2001 2.4 L auto for a 2001 2.4 manual with out having to cut a hole in the floor to get it in. Also are there any other problems that could come along with this application. If I do have enough room to do this is there a better, beefier manual i could fit. If so could you post some ideas.

I think you would have some computer issues to deal with. Most of the new auto and manual trannys are computer controled

as far as the computer goes you just swap the computer from one with a manual..there have been a few guys on j-body who have done this swap.
