I finally have my choice for my next car narrowed down, a 1995 Volvo 850 TURBO wagon We checked it out yesterday and it felt pretty good. The guy selling it put it in the shop this morning to get it checked out etc. We offered to pay for a compression test to be performed (even though the mechanic said it wasn't necessary) but we told our seller why we wanted it done (my car lost it and died). So once we are told the car has a clean bill of health we will be going down to pick it up and work out price details. So I am hoping to get a "all good" phone call tomorrow. I can't wait

I have gotten over the initial shock and sadness of Marvin dying on me. I've resurrected the car a few more times than most others would have, and I've had my fun with it. I have lots of pics to remember him by in his prime. It's time to move on to a new (and more mature) project. I probably won't be doing anything with the Volvo for awhile...at least not until it will be garaged. Until someone takes Marvin, the wagon will have to be outside. So with that said, give me some AF luck
