Changing bulbs front and turn signal

I'm trying to change a light bulb in the rear of my 2004 Nissan Maxima. I've pulled ack some of the trunk carpeting, but I cannot figure out how I would get to the blubs themselves. I have looked at the owners manual, and it is obviously of no help. Can anyone send me instructions that could help me with this.
