You know, there is no better way to have people make a big deal about your birthday than trying to hide it… which I obviously failed miserably at. Ragt20, I can’t believe you had me pegged YESTERDAY!! HOW?!?!

Well anyway, I guess I owe you all a big thanks. This is really sweet of you, honestly.. very touching. And my co-workers just took me out for lunch.. such a nice day. Though I honestly don’t have much in the way of plans for tonight. No drinking (keep in mind that I consumed at a binge level {i.e. five drinks or more} five of the seven days I was in Austin, TX last week, so I am in moderate detox mode.. for the time being (because we all know those never last long

).

My exciting birthday evening, I have laundry, and early to bed mapped out. Though a nice birthday treat would be getting my cable modem to work, which was installed yesterday, but is still plagued with technical difficulties… oh well.

GOD, I’ll have AIM up and running soon, and I’ll be sure to try and catch up with you then, and I’m sure I’ll catch up with many more of you at that time as well (and I’m sure I’ll run into you again on AIM, Razor). In the meantime, thanks again. This is really special, believe it or not

Ahhh... of course, the time difference. Because where I am (United States Eastern Time Zone), your post shows up as January 8th, so I was like "Dammit!! Somebody really's got me pegged!"
