Dave Thomas 1932-2002

Thats right ladies and gents. Dave Thomas, the founder of the Wendy's hamburger chain passed away this morning. the last i heard the cause of death was unknown. he died in his florida home. He was 69 years old. today me and my friends went to lunch at Wendy's to pay respect for a great great man.

Yeah just heard it as well....I'm deffinetly gonna have to pay tribute as well he has brought us such a great chain of fast food.....Not too mention that there probably wouldn't be any KFC without dave as well....

Thats $hitty news. Wendys is great and when you think of fast food, Dave immediatly pops into your head.

He will be missed.

Well, I really didnt like there food. The commercials were a little bland. But it is always sad to here of a person passing away with plenty of time left to live.

that really sux. the title of the thread suprised me at first. didnt think it could be true. he seemed fine. hes was doin commercials up until he death. he was a great guy. RIP Dave

I went to Wendy's yesterday and ordered the super duper artery clogger burger with biggie fries and a drink in honor of Dave. Let him be an inspiration to us all. He came from nothing and built a successful string of restraunts all over the U.S. and gave back to the country that let him do it.

I do believe he also had his hand in the making of another fast-food chain called Winstead's... but I'm not positive.
