what is a cage?
what is the cage? in reference to car stereos. The guy at circuit city said i need to get one of these from the dealer... I think he is full of s**t.

what were you asking him about where he said this? Does "the cage" deal with headunits, speakers, subs, deadening, what?

"the cage" in car audio is the rectangular mounting sleeve that head unit fits into. It's pretty much necessary
