Audio Experts Help Needed

Hey, this is acctually to do with a home audio system but I'm guessing that most audio stuff would be the same. I'm not good at all with audio stuff so I decided to ask you. Ok, my stereo that I have in my room is a piece of crap in desperate need of some bass. Now what I want to do is, keep the same speakers that I have, and today I was looking through my crutchfield magazine and I saw Rockford Fosgate Punch Z subwoofers. They were 8" subwoofers with an RMS of 50-100 watts. What I want to do is buy 2 of those subwoofers and then get an amp that is
100X2 watts. I want that amp to power the 2 subwoofers. My stereo that I have now is really crappy, it puts out 30 watts total and there is no bass whatsoever, all the treble gives me a headache. Here is a pic of the back of my stereo and tell me how I would go about hooking it up to my stereo, if it's possible. Thanks for your help, because I have no clue what I'm doing. Also if you suggest different power ratings or whatever then let me know. Thanks

that would work, but you would have a lot of bass and nasty sounding highs.

Just buy a powered sub with speaker line inputs. I got myself a Sony (I know) sub for cheap. It has an RCA input and speaker line inputs. With my Aiwa shelf system in the living room, it hooks up easily through the RCA input. Sometimes, I'll hook it up to the stereo in my study via the speaker line input and then back out from the sub to the speakers.
It adds the bass that I need!

Ok, thanks. I think I'll probably look for one with the speaker line inputs. Thanks
