Thumbs up Question on my 1g DSM?

Does anybody know anything about a keyway in the crankshaft. My talon broke down, I wont's to turn but it's not. the camshaft belt isn't stripped or anything. So I was wanting some advice.
What happened with the car was I was driving got into fourth gear, heard a noise oil pressure dropped then the car shut off. I know that it's an interference engine, it didn't throw a rod, it's wanting to turn so the timing belt didn't break, But the car lot peeps are telling me that it acts like the keyway broke so I dunno. Has anybody had this happen b4. I need some info cuz I'd like to know how much I'm going to have to put in to this car fixing it.
THankx
