Satellite Radio
Hello all,
I would like to install satellite radio in my 2001 740 iL. Does anyone know of any aftermarket gear that will integrate with the sound system and not take up all of the front seat? I would also like to replace my cell phone with a Samsung i600. Anybody know where I can get the pinout. Samsung and the cell phone forums have produced nil. Thanks, jfk0121 |

I'd be interested in the answer to the satellite radio question.
For the phone, you will run into difficulty as the star tac apparently has some special card in it to make it work with the computer/dashboard display. I've not seen any aftermarket solutions. I decided to keep my LG cell phone which I liked and just toggle on/off to forward the calls from it to my car when I was driving. Costs a little more per month for the extra line. (You can also set up the call forwards to avoid having an additional voicemail box to check.) Good luck. |
