Question tuning up

I've a 1.4 fiesta with a z-tec engine.
I want to increase is power but i don't know how to make it avoiding wrek the car.Could someone give me a hint?Thankyou

whoa no offense but that is almost the same displacement as a rotary engine (1.3L). I'd say u should change plugs, check timing, get a higher flowing intake, get straight through muffler and so forth. If u want u can get a custom turbo set up but it is gonna cost some bux. If u just want it like they day u bought it then just get a tune up at a local repair shop or rebuild the engine. good luck and have fun!

You may think that it is a foolish to tune a 1.3L and it is,in US.But in europe is the most comun car

it depends what type of 1.4 it is if its a si then its standard 90 bhp which is pretty much maximum i own fiestars tuning and bodywork company in wigan and i suggest getting a rs turbo transplant then go for the 2.1 zvh swap on the 1.6 giving you a standard un modified power output of around 220bhp to the front wheels which is bloody fast for a car that weighs less than a fart
