Calgary Racing Teams

Anybody live in Calgary that knows if there are any racing tracks in calgary?
What is the age you have to be in order to race?
What Calgary racing teams are there?
How old to you have to join?
Thanks.

Calgary's racetrack is Racecity Speedway. It's just south of town. Not too sure of teams or costs. Hope that helps!

I don't think you have to be a certain age. At least you didn't for that Secret Street thing they used to have. It cost $20 and you could go down the 1/4 mile as many times as you wanted that night. I think they reopen in April when the snow's all gone.

You need to have a valid license and insurance obviously.

$20 to run all night long and $5 for helmet rental if you don't have one.

Go to www.racecity.com for more info.

yeah and if your looking to buy a Type-R (I assume since its your username) your insurance will be even higher. I was paying $4200 a year on my Prelude.

wooo.. did you guys tell them(insurance company) you modded the car? or was that just because of the car???? I am paying 1500 for my 2001 GS, I am hoping it will drop soon. (most of my coworker got their insurance discounted this year.. don't know why...)
