Car Shutsdown
today i hooked up my amp and sub in my car. the car has a prime alarm system in it, when i dissconcted and reconnect the battery the alarm goes off. now i have everything hooked up. I start the car everything works great. (i have been having problems putting my car into gear) Now today i put the car into reverse, and the car like stalls out and shuts down totally. clutch totally shot? or would it be something else?

Re: Car Shutsdown
You probably have a short. The same thing happened to me - one of the negatives between one of my subs and the amp came loose. Make sure all of your ground wires are secure.
