Good Price For '95 Aurora W/105,000m?

Just Wanted To Know What Would Be A Good Price For Me To Pay For A '95 W/105m Body In Good Shape Except For A Loose Piece Of Weather Strip That Goes Around Rear Window And Along The Top Of Car, Its Low On The Back Window And You Can See Part Of The Actual Back Window (bottom) I Think I Just Need To Buy A New Strip. Other Than That The Outside Is Great, Paint Good, Int. Good, No Rips Or Tears, Really Clean Owned By A Lady Who Wants A Smaller Car. So Far We've Agreed On 3000 From The 3500 She Was Asking. Good Deal?

Re: Good Price For '95 Aurora W/105,000m?

I think a perfectly MINT 95 Aurora, should be $4500-5000 G USD

If it needs some work, $3000 is good deal, sink a bit into fixing it up and you're laughining. I have almost 100 000 miles on my Aurora with only minor issues, and I paid $10 500 CDN last August.

Re: Good Price For '95 Aurora W/105,000m?

95 are know to be a little more problematic then 96+ but, thats always held true with any "new car".

The Aurora was introduced in 95, and in future years they work out the bugs as they come. However, at 105 000 miles, I bet a lot of the bugs have been worked out.

Just bear in mind, your new car is going on 10 years old, things happen. Generally, $3000 USD is a great deal.

And it is a great car.

I still laugh at the fact that these cars are worth so little, even though you may get very bad luck, I couldn't be happier.

Re: Good Price For '95 Aurora W/105,000m?

Maybe a Supercharged Bonneville (with a Series 1/2 L67)

Otherwise the Aurora is a big time winner. And its rare, not many on the roads out there

Re: Good Price For '95 Aurora W/105,000m?

I wouldnt think so, I would however get the tranny fluid checked and changed if it needs it. And check ALL the filters...

btw, nice to see another member online at the same time

hi! I'm Jim

Re: Good Price For '95 Aurora W/105,000m?

Well, good luck with the car, hopefully it will be good to you. So far mine has. I few issues, busted ELC (soon to be fixed) condensation in the headlamp and the fogger lights burn out way to fast..

Otherwise...tremendous car!

They made some changes in the braking department to help slow down these heavy beasts, bigger rotors. Also make sure your dipstick is not one of the mismarked ones. The first time you change the oil fill her up with 7.5 qts of oil and run it for a few secends to fill the new oil filter and then let the oil drain back into the pan. See where the oil comes up to on your stick becasue that is were its supposed to be. Some 95 Auroras were marked at 6-6.5 qts instead of the 7.5.

Re: Good Price For '95 Aurora W/105,000m?

Thanks alot BKVic, will do! Are there any aftermarket sticks I can buy w/ the correct markings if I do indeed have a mismarked one?
