97 Astro fuel pump questionable power
Replaced my fuel pump, the one I put in from a wreaking yard worked great for 7 days then stopped. got a new one in and it started right up, drove 10 miles turned off van and the new pump wouldn't come on. tested power on wires and they were lighting up when the key was turned on. Started to take out tank AGAIN and only got the hose neck out and tried starting and it started right up. Now it has worked everyday on short trips away and back home but I have no idea how long it will work. Stumped here and affriad to turn off van away from my driveway. Ran power from battery to wreaking yard fuel pump and it works fine.

FOUND Problem, the wire harness from front of tank to pump had a cut wire (from me sliding the tank cover onto the wires, Oppsie) shorting periodically, bought new harness Works Great! One for the books.
