Question PEUGEOT 607 Pack 2.2hdi, AUDI A6 Pack Plus V6 tdi or Volvo S80 2.5d Summum ?

To replace my BMW 525tds Pack Luxe, I hesitate between these 3 cars.

Which one would be "the best", mainly as acoustic comfort and handling are concerned ?

Thank you for opinions.

Long time no see dude

Didnt even know you got a beemer!!

anyway, i've never been a big fan of the 607 so that falls down right away. I'd go for the audi, it should hold its value better than the other two. I know it's about to be replaced but the S80 is nearing the end of its life too, right? you know what, i'd stick with the 525... why u selling it?

Long time indeed ! Have you changed your golf ?

I'd really like an Alfa 166 but alas, the value of this car is not excellent in France.
The 607 holds a good value as the A6. The S80 is between the 166 and the 607/A6.
The 525 is a good car but I want to change

what about the new Alfa GT:

with the 1.9 JTD(since you seem to prefer diesel)
Engine capacity 1910 cc.
4 cylinders in line
Power output 110 kW (150 bhp) at 4000 rpm
Torque of 305 Nm at 2000 rpm.

and if cannot get a good deal in France just take a vacation to Aosta or along the Riviera and buy one there.

Re: PEUGEOT 607 Pack 2.2hdi, AUDI A6 Pack Plus V6 tdi or Volvo S80 2.5d Summum ?

I have to change my cars every 6 to 10 months. Because, in this way, I don't lose money on the car's value. That means that the car must be older than 4 years, and be easy to sell. That's why I prefer diesel because on the French market (and on Europeans) diesel car are easiyer to sell.
So the AlfaGT, why not, but later !
In the current cars selection, I like really much the Renault Espace IV, the Peugeot 407 and the Lancia Thesis. In 2 or 3 years, I think I'll have one of these, but today, I've to choose not a too recent car.
The 607, A6 and S80 would be a year 99 or 00.

I tried to reply to this before but it didnt get through...

im still pootling around in my golf unfortunately, but im working and studying at the moment so i wouldnt even have time to enjoy a new car. If i pass this exam in june, i should get some good $$$ from my employer, and if that happens, im ordering a Z4 the next day

ahem.. back to topic... i'd still go for an A6. those things are built beautifully. though a 525 would be my top choice. are you definitely gonna sell it? the A6's not as good to drive...

And price of the diesel is 0,80€/liter, 1,10€/L for the gas....
USD5/1gallon for gas
USD3,60/1gallon for diesel
