different engines

hello all its me again! i know that i have been asking questions like can the 4g63 be the same as what is in our us lancers and i was wondering if my 4g93 could be coverted to dohc, but now another issue has risen (SP) i dont have a 4g93. i dont know if all the us lancers came with the same engine because i know they didnt come with the same tires. i was looking the earlier today and i noticed that i have a 4g94 under my damn hood which makes me wonder again is this fuckin thing any good???????

Simmer down now

I failed you danual son, I told you incorrect info, the engine that is in mine is a 4g94. My mistake. All U.S. Lancers came with the 4G94, my mistake.

Damnet

The 4g94 that is in our U.S. lancers can not be converted using the head of the 4g63. Won't work I tell yah. So, next step, gut the fish, drop a cyclone with awd, and that my friend is how we maka a Pirana.

I think it will

Im no too sure if it will fit or not myself because i'm not gonna bother with the specs on swapping them, but the web site i found at racing performance works says that it will fit but its just a heap load of cash and alittle more work but it will fit. check it out for yourself at rpw.com

Damn Link

I got some good news and I got some bad news.
Bad news: That damn link don't work
Good news, here is the link that does work: http://www.rpw.com.au/New%20Website/MP001.htm
More good news, They build a turbo kit for our cars
more bad news, The engine in our cars was the same as the mirage in 2000. So our Lancers(U.S.) are two years behind in engine componetry
besides replaceing the mirage, what the hell was mitsubishi Thinking.
They know us Americans like big things, and fast things.
What the hell were they thinking. They should of just sent the evo over when they sent this one over. Damnit, piss, all to hell.
Any way's, so these guys in australia say they can give us more power then the turbo kit from Road Race Engineering.
So ? on what to do

Re: different engines

hey whats up there is a engine swap that is affordable unless you have money to throw away and time to manufacture parts to put in a 4g63t in your lancer i would suggest the (612a 24v DOCH mivec with 200hp factory) its the fto's engine and for what i know it is a easy swap bolts right up and maybe enough room to add a turbo but its affordable check: http://www.rpw.com.au/Performance%20...103engconv.htm if not keep your engine and go to www.roadracemotorsports.com
