Rear window decal

PLease oh please don't get one of those little silver decals from any auto parts store. i put one of those on mine a while back, TWICE, b/c they fade in like 2 or 3 months, become yellow and brittle and damn near impossible to remove. my advice is go to a sign shop or if u have a flea market near u, see if there is someone up there that prints sign-type decals. a lot of times u can get just the decal(depending on what size u want)for about 20 bucks. u can save urself some $ that way and it lasts a LOT longer. the butterfly decal on my rear window i bought for 6 bucks from a guy that owns a sign shop who sets up a booth at our local flea market. in this case, it's kinda like u get what u pay for, even though the autoparts store charges more, it's cheap quality

Rear window decal

i bought the only chevy bowtie decal i've ever come across in a parts store. it's a glittery silver, about a foot to foot-&a-half across. it looked good for the first month or so, until it started fading, then i put another of the same thing on it and it did it again, so i gave up. plus i don't have the luxury of being able to park in a garage or anything. if i decide to put a bowtie on my window again, i'm going to the same type of sign guy i got my butterfly from. i would post a pic of it here but i don't know how

thanks for everyone's help, just one other question. about what size is everyone getting the decals for, i'd like it to be pretty big ( a little smaller than the back window). is this the size you all are getting or is there another size that looks better??

Rear window decal

where do u guys live?!! i've never heard of anyone getting pulled over for window decals, but i guess it depends on how big and how many. i can see if it was an 'obstruction of view' but if the guy just puts a chevy emblem decal on his rear window, no matter how big, he should be ok. if the cop thinks it blocks ur view from behind then he can pull u over. but i have never been pulled for ANY of my decals
