Red face Ruined Estima Body !

Look what happened to my Estima when soaked in brake fluid. The quality of Aoshima's plastic is not really up to much, its so brittle whereas Tamiya's is a good "solid" plastic. I was taking this out of the fluid now and again rubbing it with a toothbrush, i heard tiny cracking noises now and again but noticed no breakage. I then changed the fluid, bought a little higher grade as not much was happening. popped it back in for a few hours and this is what happened. Well, now now ive a load of Estima bits hanging around with no body to use.
Later, Mike.

What kind of brake fluid? My friend uses Castrol Super Clean in the purple bottle, and it only gives him trouble when the car has laquer-based paint on it. Even then it doesn't eat the plastic.

Mike, which DOT of brake fluid you use? Dot 3 or Dot 4? I am trying to remove of the paint of your kits, I was kind of frustrated that it will crack the UCF21 body.
