Need help choosing a Deck.

Im looking to buy a deck and Im stuck between 2 different receivers in 2 different brands. First of all the one is an Alpine and the other is a Panasonic, which might make a difference right away. I will be running 2 15" MTX 8000s off of a Legacy amp for now. My inside speakers are all 3 way Pioneers.

The models are-
Panasonic CQ-HR1003U
Alpine CDA-9827

I have no idea how good these are when compared but I do know the Alpine is a nice deck...yet the Panasonic has more watts and more volts on the pre-outs.

Any help would be good...thanks!

Re: Need help choosing a Deck.

watts on a headunit really don't matter. Alpine is probably your best bet. You won't be worrying much about SQ for now though with that amp. Also you won't get much power out of the subs. Keep the headunit gains low for bass and the amps should be adjusted properly otherwise you will blow your subs with distortion trying to power those to even half of their full potential.
