Cavaliar VS Malibu

As the title suggest Cavaliar VS Malibu? I am looking for 1997+ comparisons, comparing weight to hp to torque etc. I have specs on the malibu 2.4L 155bhp, 150ft-lbs, 3051lbs. What about the cavaliar?

Re: Cavaliar VS Malibu

I think that horsepower and torqe would be about the same if they both have the same engine. The malibu weighs just about 5 or 6 hundred pounds lighter than the cavalier

Re: Cavaliar VS Malibu

The malibu has the 3100 and weighs more, but it is almost like comparing apples and oranges. The malibu is also a different calss of vehicles, though the option levels would be similar. The malibu is more of a family car, while the cav is a economy.

I think that kbb.com has a comparison area to compare one car to the other.

Thanks guys I answered my own question thought. It looks like the malibu will win due to the extra 35hp and 32ft-lbs of torque even thought the malibu weights 299lbs more.
