abs light
I have a 1994 318i. It has 90K miles about 3 weeks ago I noticed that the ABS light will not go off after I start the engine. Where should I look to troubleshoot the problem. I have called the dealer and they want me to bring it in. Any advise from the BMW gurus.

Your ABS system is a safty feature that should only be serviced by a qualified service tech. Bring it to the dealer.

ABS light
By any chance, before it happened, didn't you have any emergency braking on a bad bumpy surface ?
It's particular to many E36 BMWs, for the ABS to start glitching after such kind of "accident". In the worst case, the ABS light will start coming on every time you traverse a bumpy surface. However, this glitch can really be serviced by an authorised dealer.
