We are back!
Well.... crazy ....
The downtime was supposed to be a max of 4 hours late on Wednesday night due to datacenter move our webhost was making. However, some things went awry and lots of time was necessary to get everything back on track. Sorry for the long sleep, but AF is back! Also, I want to warn everyone that another relatively long downtime in the near future is coming, but that should be the final one for a very long time. After the next downtime, the website should be significantly faster, which will be immediately followed by some great automotive content and launches of new sections. Thanks for your support!

 Do you know how hard it is to substitute AF with a ski forum when you haven't skiied or seen snow for 6 months?

Thank God. I was going nuts...I wasnt sure what the hell was going on. How much longer until all the pictures work???
If I have to sufice images for awhile to get a bigger, better, faster AF, then so be it.

 Glad to know its back up. I'm also glad that I know it wasn't just my computer screwing up again. When there is absolutely nothing to do and AF isn't up it sure does make it hard to find something to interest me.

And I'm glad it's back too. The guys on the SpeedTV boards aren't usually as fun as the crowd over here.
Except for the Dirt/Oval forum guys. Those guys are cool. Instead of bickering over who's cheating (like the NASCAR guys), whining about Schumacher (like the F1 guys), threatening each other (the CART and IRL guys), or arguing over why the opposing side's series sucks (Grand Am versus ALMS debate in the Sports Car forums), the Dirt/Oval guys spend their time talking about the local racing, playing fun games like "Name that Engine" or "Name that Track" where one guy throws up a pic and leaves it to the other guys to figure it out. Tell you another thing. They actually had me outclassed in that, too. Stuff like Sampsons. Here's a link, just so that you guys can see this nutcasery. Anyhoo, good to be back.
