6 speed

will the 6 speed tranny out of an s15 fit onto the other sr engines, like the s13 or s14. I know it is weaker but you have to have a lot of power before it would matter.

no. s13, s14, and s15 are all chassis codes. many different engines came in them.

and to answer the original question, yes, it fits, but your going to need to use an s15 driveshaft along with an s15 rear differential.

Re: 6 speed

I think I heard of it being used on a s14 maybe (but don't hold me to that ) but I heard the major problem with the 6 speed is making it fit into the s14 body .because there's alot of fabrication involved

true, but the transmission mounts are in different locations. you will need to modify them as well

better gas mpg though I think right? or is the 5th gear not overdrive? Still maybe a bit shorter ratio on 6th than on the stock ka 5-speed...

Maybe useless and pointless...but if you want 6 gears for the cool factor than think about a 2jz swap lol...a bit more expensive and time consuming than an s15 tranny...but you can find supra engines in junkyards here...
