best way to sell vr4 spyder?

Hi, guys I'm new to the forum. I own a 1 owner red spyder with 42000 miles. What a great car, I could just cry. I have one daughter getting married and another in college. Somethings gotta give. And it's always me! This reminds me of the time 20 years ago when I had to sell my 67 corvette convertible big block because there was no place to strap in the child seat. Oh well. I have never had any trouble with this car and have been very good about maintenence. Do you guys recommend e-bay? I'm going to try and get it upsoon.

I don't know if I could handle giving my my Spyder. Sorry to hear you have to let her go.

You first want to figure out what price you're willing to let her go for. After that, advertize in your local newspaper, on www.autotrader.com and www.3si.org as well as here Be very descriptive of the features of the car (much more then just if its and SL or VR4) for your local paper and autotrader. The people on 3si and here pretty much know the features already so you don't have to put as much details (such as AWD etc).

You'll want to have the VIN ready for people who ask. Have a set of pictures you can post online of the car. This includes the engine bay and the hardtop in various stages of retraction.

I would use EBay as a last resort.

Good luck

Man that sucks, really sorry to hear you have to give it up. I agree completely with Yogs, I found my vr4 on www.autotrader.com.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
