How much do you pay for insurance?
Christ...I've been trying to find out what my insurance would be like if I got an '88 RX-7 Turbo II in July. This is outrageous
My stats: 18 years old 2 years driving No tickets No accidents Both Geico, Nationwide (what we have), and AllState quoted me ranging from $1600-$2000 every 6 months. Gave me about the same range for if I was the primary driver on my parents insurance. Even a non-turbo'd version wasn't that much cheaper. $4000 a year...that's about the price of the goddamn car! If I get the car, I won't be driving it every day, because I really don't want to have a car in the city unless I have a job that's too far to bike to (I'd keep it at my house in Manassas). Currently, insurance for my Accord is roughly $400 every 6 months. God, I guess insurance agencies hate the words "Male," "Coupe," and "Turbo"...
