Question vinyl or leather

not only is this opionated but it is questionative. now i am not quite shure on the diffrences of the two when it comes to interior. why i sthe other one better than the other, now my friend has a 95 ls teg' and he is going to be black and white vinyl, i told him to do that instead of leather, just out of plain import instinct. now please inform me why it is instinct to choose vinyl over leather in show type cars.

Re: vinyl or leather

vinyl is much cheaper and esier to work with than leather. vinyl is also available in more colors and has a more modern look than leather- i think price is the biggest issue though

Re: vinyl or leather

Vinyl is plastic and leather is cow hide. Vinyl doesn't resist tearing as well as leather. Leather doesn't do well when it is exposed to a lot of sunlight.

Leather is mainly better because it smells like leather.
