Talking 1990 BMW 525 Head Lights

The right low beam head light goes out by itself. I replaced the bulbs. All other lights (left low beam, both high beam, & fog lights) work. Fuses are ok too. There seems to be less wattage to this connection - used multimeter to check current. Any ideas or similiar problems from anyone - before I get a fix-it ticket. Thank you,

Try the LKM, light control module. I had a similar problem. The right side low beam wouldn't work, and the left side fog light wouldn't work. Checked fuses, bulbs, etc. Ended up getting a LKM on ebay and the problem went away.
Hope this helps!

It was the LKM alright. It also takes a special tool to get the LKM out. Eventhough it seems like it would pull out like fuse. It doesn't. Rather than destroy my front power box, I paid the big bucks and had it replaced. $640 !!

Glad I was able to help and your on the road again!
I didn't have to get a special tool to remove mine, though.
What year is your car? Maybe it's different than mine.
Sorry to hear it cost so much. Where did you take the car?
The local independent shop I deal with soldered the old one but it only worked for a little while. I was able to get a reconditioned LKM on e-bay for about $100.00 with a 6 month warranty. It took 2 min to replace.
