Question Daytime Running Light Failure

I had my mehanic change the clutch, battery and oil on my '99 Sunfire about six months ago. When I got it back, the interior lights and the DRL's didn't work. I pulled the fuses for both and the interior lights came back, but the DLR's are still out.

I contacted my mechanic, who supposedly contacted HIS 'guru' and booted it up the line somewhere in GM and nobody can seem to figure out what's up with the lights.

Does anyone out there have any ideas? The obvious ones have been taken (checking connections, lights, fuses, relays; disconnecting/reconnecting battery).

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Re: Daytime Running Light Failure

my drl on my 2001 sunfire stopped working. I still had high beams but no low beams. I found the problem. It was a blue wire near the large connector that attaches the headlight harness to the car.
