air flow meter calibrating

I have a 4L 2.2litre 90' 626 and want to calibrate the air flow meter. I have a lot of black smoke, the flap dont go back. what should i calibrate in the little black box over the afm?

The flap should be able to move freely. You probably just have dirt or may have tightened the clamp next to it too tightly and it's not able to move. Your throttle body controls the airflow. When the throttlebody plate opens it sucks in air which causes that flap to open as much as it needs to.
