Strut Bars...

Okay, my question, I've heard bad things about ebay strut bars, and I've heard good things about them. Ive had one, and I thought it was great, but I want to know, why do people dawg on them all the time? Is it just because theyre cheap and bought from ebay? Is it because if its not namebrand like shoes or clothes its shit? Im just curious, is it a popularity thing, or a real true functionality issue?

Re: Strut Bars...

Depends on who is making them.

Re: Strut Bars...

honestly i dont think there would probably be a difference on ebay strut bars and Name brand strut bars. As long as it bolts up and is stiff enough to hold the chassis flex then it works. The only thing i would be more concerned is that the ebay ones are made of cheap material that would snap during hard turns or something. I was thinking of buying that megan combo from ebay(front, rear, lower tie) Has some kind of brand name on it other than the blank ones. comes at a cost tho for the name on it haha

Re: Strut Bars...

Don't buy a bar that has joints/hinges in it. One solid piece will be so much stronger and do it's job properly.
You get what you pay for.
