at my local hobby shop, which is like 30 miles away, a fujimi model was going for 28 bucks, then tax would bring it probably over 30

ya right.. that car doesn't have engine detail... how many fujimi kits out there has engine detail except for those large scale skylines.

that one ... i dont' know man.. the engine bay area does open, BUT by looking at the parts included, it really doesn't look like it include engine detail.. looks too lack of trees to have that many parts... but i may be wrong then... but so far, i have not seen ONE 1:24 Fujimi kit with engine detail.

I two more of the same MR-2

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=1685776917

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=1685779203

It seems that the engine is molded into the chassis. Wouldn't call that exactly DETAIL, but it seems to be there though... Oh well

Most Fujimi kits don't have however

btw where is this Stanwood in WA? I'm in Seattle and there is some hobby shops worth to visit. The best is American Eagles on Lake city WY (NE Seattle). Plenty of Tamiya's stock but no spray paint! And I do my paint shopping in Skyway model shop (Renton, WA). They have some older japanese kits like Aoshima and Hasegawa. Hobbytown USA in Lynnwood probably closest big shop to you but I never been there

ALL Fujimi's Enthusiast range have full engine detail, amazing suspension detail and many have opening boots, or in the case of some, doors too!
No other 1/24 Fujimi kits have engine detail.
