my hazard lights don't work

when i bought the car the switch didn't turn on the lights. what could it be

The hazard fuse is located on the positive terminal harness on your battery.

still dont work my blinkers work but not my hazards it make a wierd sound when i turn my hazard lights on like zzzzzzzz can some one give me advice on what to do i need it for inspection sticker thanks

If it's not the fuse, then most likely the hazzard switch is corroded or bad. Take the steerting wheel collor off and clean the contacts with some contact cleaner. If that doesn't work and your fuse isn't blown, you most likely need a new switch.
