Re: service tire monitor

The only way to "permanently" turn off the message (since technically, the system is already "disabled" ) is to reprogram the computer to turn off the message and/or not monitor the system.

If you can live with pressing the steering wheel button to acknowledge the message every time you start your truck and don't really care about whether your tires are running low on air, then you don't need to put the sensors in.

tire pressure monitoring systems

I just bought a new Yukon and was wondering the same thing. What about a fuse to pull to disable system?

Re: service tire monitor

Hi,
call me old fashioned, but why not fix the problem by putting the sensors back in?
They will have to be re-synchronized to the receivers so the system knows, which tire is where. This also needs to be done when rotating tires.
Take care, Eggert
