Coolant and Vacuum Hose questions...
Ok guys here's the deal. I am almost ready to fire up my SOHC ZC for the first time, but I need some help with where these vacuum hoses and coolant lines go. The orignal motor was a DX dpfi so i'm not sure if there are extra lines and what not.
Could someone please either direct me to a place that has pictures or will someone post some pictures of their engine bay? Thanks a bunch, Matt Last edited by 90hbsleepr; 03-23-2004 at 03:48 PM. |

Re: ZC SOHC Swap...
I got it all together but does anyone happen to know the part number of the hose which is the fat U shaped one connecting the back top left of the intake manifold to the main coolant part coming off the block just below it, or can i just buy one that has that type of bend already?

You should be able to buy one for it, just take it in and they should be able to match it up, or at least get something really close...Since youve got a swap done, and the motor is a ZC, just telling the place is going to confuse them. Most shops around here keep wanting to know the year and make of your car far after youve explained 400 times that its not the stock engine...
