Question Why are Talon and Eclipse the same?
hey guys i got a question, Why are talon and eclipse the same? in terms of looks and specs (not sure about specs if the same)

They are the same because they were built originally as a joint venture (Laser included) between Mitsu and Chrysler.

The alliance between Mitsubishi and Chrysler was called "Diamond Star Motors" or DSM. The diamonds from Mitsubishi, the 5 pointed star from Chrysler. Also, at the time Chrysler was a combination of Chrysler-Jeep-Eagle-Plymouth, then all of those except Jeep melted down into Chrysler when it consolidated.

They share the same platform.. Eclipse, Talon and Plymouth Laser

Much the way a Chevy Lumina is the same as a Monte Carlo and a Firebird and Camaro are the same.. Different company name, same platform, same engine, different body style.

who designed what parts of the cars? obviously the diffrent turbo and NA motors...but i was wondering if u knew anything else?
