what is the gray staff??

i new i the car modeling area i see lot of projects in
this forum and i wont to know what is it the gray thing that everyboday
put in ther models before the paint or improve ther model with some kit what is it the gray thing??????

FAQ, but I will tell you it is primer, just don't ask what is primer!!!

"What is primer?"

Primer is what helps to make paint stick to the model. Paint sticks to primer, and primer sticks to plastic, but paint doesn't stick well to plastic, so by using primer between, they stick well to each other. It also helps you see if you missed any molding lines or something.

and why the use it to glue kits or something like that and from where i can buy this and i dont live in uk i need shop that do ship

it could also be modeling putty like some people use to make bodykits
