condenser fan relay keeps on frying

Help,

got a 93 lude S, and the condenser fan relay shorts or dies after a couple hours, and they're 50 bucks a piece at the dealer!!!
I'm not sure why but it happend right after my friend replaced my a/c compressor. He has no idea what the problem is...
I dont know in what circumstance a relay will fry.
